Earlier today Amazon introduced the launch of its new STEM Toys & Games (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) online store. I’m sharing the news because I was happy to hear it. My sons especially like science and technology games and I like for them to develop a variety of skills as they play. Education shouldn’t stop in the school classroom!
While I saw a few of my sons’ favorite STEM toys (Learning Resources Gears! Gears! Gears!, Snap Circuits and Scientific Explorer’s My First Mind Blowing Science Kit) in the section, there were many new and interesting picks. Since both boys recently celebrated their birthdays, I asked them to go through the online store and pick the items that they would like for me to put on their holiday gift options list. They ended up picking five items, so altogether we have 8 top picks:
