A CafePress Customer Service Story
(and a $50 Holiday Gift Certificate Giveaway)

Have you ever purchased anything from CafePress? I have. Back in 2008, I bought two customized t-shirts. (I need to clean out my emails. I still have the confirmation one?!) Anyway, I bought:

1 Custom Jr. Ringer T-Shirt (with the words “Keep it Classy” on it)

and

1 Custom Jr. Raglan (with the words “Obama Mama” on it)

I still have the “Keep it Classy” tee. I wore out the “Obama Mama” one though…it was so cute – it was white with black sleeves. In looking back over my order via email, I remember how impressed I was with the customer service at CafePress. I had mistakenly put 149 instead of 148 in my street address so I had sent them this note:

“I was wondering why I had not received my order and I realized that this was shipped to the wrong address.”

Their customer service person responded by writing:

“Dear Kimberly Coleman,

Thank you for confirming the address. I am now replacing your order and upgrading the shipping at no cost to you. You should receive your replacement order by December 2nd.

If the original order does arrive there is no need to return it. Please go ahead and keep it as our way of apologizing for the delay.

If there is anything else I can do for you please let me know.

Best Regards,”

How cool was that?!

In any event, when CafePress recently reached out to me to see if I would like to host a holiday giveaway for a $50 gift certificate to their site, I happily agreed. To enter to win, simply leave me a comment letting me know what you would purchase with the gift certificate on the CafePress.com site. They have a wide variety of items that you can choose (i.e. invitations, calendar and t-shirts). You can pick from items that are already designed or you can customize your own items. I will use random.org to choose a winner on 12/19 at noon. Good luck!

I think that I just might need to go back and get myself a new raglan with my 2013 “Less is More” mantra printed on it…
