Since we’re focusing on Spring Fashion and Beauty this month, I thought that it would be great to contribute to a clothing-related charity. I chose Dress for Success because they are a great cause, they have a “four star” Charity Navigator rating and they have a variety of ways to donate.
The mission of Dress for Success is “to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.” Each Dress for Success client receives a suit when she has a job interview and can get a second suit or separates when she finds a job.

FYI: Dress for Success accepts new and gently used suits, business attire and accessories. (I have three pairs of dress slacks in my closet that still have the tags on them that I’ll be donating!)
