ConAgra and TheMotherhood.com Launch Cooking Connections(A Blogger-Hosted Online Cooking School)

Food was on my mind all of last week. (I’m not sure if I will be able to wait until June to launch Foodie City Mom. Once something is in my head…) Anyway, one of the food-related things that I am the most excited about at the moment is that my good friends over at TheMotherhood.com have partnered with ConAgra Foods to launch something new. It is a virtual cooking school called Cooking Connections that will be hosted by several mom and food bloggers – including me.

The eight week series held its official kick off on Friday the 28th at the Blissdom (blogging) Conference in Nashville with celebrity Chef George Duran. You can find the recipe for the Chicken with Balsamic Tomatoes that he prepared at www.readyseteat.com. Here is the launch video that was shown:

The remaining classes are listed below:

-Navigating Food Allergies (2/2 at 1pm)

-Cooking With Loved Ones (2/9 at 8pm)

-Creating An Efficient Kitchen (2/16 at 1pm)

-Healthier Meal Makeovers (2/23 at 1pm)

-*Expanding Your Family’s Palette By Placating Picky Eaters (3/2 at 1pm)

-Sweet Treats (3/9 at 1pm)

-Cooking with Dad (3/16 at 8pm)

I am so happy to be one of the bloggers hosting the 3/2 “Expanding Your Family’s Palette By Placating Picky Eaters” class on 3/2 along with Jennifer (Savor the Thyme) and Kelsey (The Naptime Chef). I have already learned so much from both of them and I know that you will love them. We will also have some wonderful co-hosts to make the talk even more fun – including my friends Jen, Jo-Lynne, Carol and Shari. Be sure to register for our class over at TheMotherhood.com. (It’s FREE…all of the classes in this series are a gift to readers!)

Speaking of cooking classes…have you ever taken one (online or in real life)?

(Disclosure: I will be compensated by TheMotherhood/ConAgra foods for hosting the Picky Palette class.)
