Take Family Travel Farther with Plenti Rewards

While riding in the car last week with Reggie and the boys, we all started to reminisce about some of our favorite family travel trips. Of course, the big trips (Disney World and a Nickelodeon kids cruise) stood out, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear how much the kids enjoyed our car trip destinations.

Michael & Sean’s Favorite Car Trips (to date)
-Coco Key (New Jersey indoor water park)
-Maryland/DC area (for a family reunion)
-Raleigh, North Carolina
-Rocking Horse Ranch (Highland, New York)
-Sesame Place (Langhorne, Pennsylvania)
-Busch Gardens (Williamsburg, Virginia
-Camping in the Adirondack Mountains

The memories from those trips were the greatest rewards. However, I’m excited that since I’m now aware of Plenti (a new rewards program for which I am a brand ambassador), we can gain points that lead to even more rewards with our upcoming travel.

Although we own a car, we don’t use it for long distance travel. Rather, we rent or borrow one, fill it up at the gas station and hit the road. We do this to reduce the mileage and wear and tear on our personal family car so that we can save money by keeping our car longer. With Plenti rewards program partner offers, we will get points for renting a car at Enterprise Rent-A-Car leading to even more savings.

In addition, we will gain points for filling up the car with gas AND for the non-fuel items that we pick up at the gas station. (I don’t know about your kids but mine always want something when we stop to get gas.)

If (like my family) you will already be renting a car and buying gas to travel, why not get rewarded? I like the fact that I can earn points with my Plenti rewards card at these places and use them at another one of their partners (AT&T, Exxon, Macy’s, Mobil, Nationwide, Rite Aid, Direct Energy, Enterprise and Hulu). After all of that summer traveling, it will be time for back to school shopping – Macy’s here we come!)

More Details About the Plenti Rewards Program…

plenti rewards

1. Plenti is a new program that lets you earn and redeem rewards points when you shop at participating partners – both offline and online. Partners include AT&T, Exxon, Macy’s, Mobil, Nationwide, Rite Aid, Direct Energy, Enterprise and Hulu.

2. It’s FREE to join Plenti and you get rewards for purchases that you’re already making. It was a no-brainer for me to join because I regularly shop at Macy’s and Rite Aid. My family also gets gas at Exxon and Mobil, so those purchases will account for even more points and rewards.

3. Although the Plenti program is operated by American Express, you can pay for your purchases however you normally do (cash, any credit card, debit cards, etc.)

4. The Plenti partners constantly have special offers like the ones that I shared above for Enterprise, Exxon and Mobile. (Plenti is also currently running a PlentiTogether Sweepstakes with a grand prize of 1 million Plenti points and a trip for two to NYC to see Pitbull, Keith Urban, and Nick Jonas.)
