Do your kids like creepy crawly things? Mines usually don’t except on the rare occasion. That’s why I passed off a Bugs Fandex (Fandex Family Field Guides)
that I was sent to review. I gave it to a Mom in the City member whose 5 year old son loves various types of bugs. She said that he really enjoyed it. Although some of the pictures are a little too vivid for the smallest ones, the Bugs Fandex is a great way of sharing information regarding a wide variety of little creatures. If bugs are your kids’ “thing”, this is a great tool to initiate discussions about various bugs.
Along with the Fandex, I was sent The Bug Book and Bug Bottle
. The bottle part gives kids a place to put their captured bugs. The book part will help kids identify the different types of bugs that they catch. If your kids like bugs, you might want to try out this $13.95 set.
