I’m so excited to re-launch Mom in the City as a curated deals site for New York City moms! It is such a gift to be able to combine three of the things that I love (moms, NYC and experiences) in one place. I have been interested in daily deals for a while and participating in blogger programs with Gilt Children, Juice in the City and FamilyFinds only served to increase my interest. As I spoke with several moms (both online and offline), we all agreed that deals are great BUT there are just too many of them. Moms don’t have the time or inclination to go through all of them. Mom in the City will solve this problem by going through all of the available offers and picking the best one to share with you each day…along with an explanation regarding why the deal was chosen. I get to use my research and “mom” background to save you the time and trouble of wading through tons of emails to get the best deals.

-My picks will primarily be local deals, but I will include some exceptional national ones.

-They will mainly be experience offers, but there will be the occasional products added if they are especially great suggestions.

-I will highlight one deal a day (Monday through Friday). However, I will also add a “Breaking Deal” if I discover a deal that just can’t wait to be my pick for the next day (i.e. one day only deals or deals that I think are so hot that they will sell out before the next day’s posting).

-Best of all, you can receive the picks in YOUR preferred style (via this site, email, Twitter and/or Facebook).

-As a bonus, each weekend I will include my Top 8 “Free or Almost Free” family-friendly event picks for the week on the Events page. (I do this for myself/my family as well as for you!)
