-Mandela Day will be held on July 18th, Mr. Mandela’s birthday to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s life and to serve as a global call-to-action for community service. Starting July 13, Mandela is asking volunteers to commit 67 minutes of their time (representing the 67 years Mr. Mandela spent fighting for humanitarian issues) towards volunteer work.
