Congrats to the winner: dorothy l
Seeds of Change is a wonderful company that has a wide variety of organic food products. Their mission is “to preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable organic agriculture practices”. Since I’ve been trying to include more natural and organic foods in my family’s meals, I was excited when they sent me a package of their USDA Certified Organic foods. (One Mom in the City reader will also win $50 worth of product and ten additional readers will receive $1 off coupons!)

We ate some of the food and gave some away to a vegetarian friend. (It’s always good to get other perspectives.) I’m happy to say that we really like the products. My husband and sons (“the rice people”) really enjoyed the various rices. I, on the other hand especially like the Indian Simmer Sauces (which my husband won’t eat, because the ones we received have coconut in them). I haven’t tried the Seeds of Change Pasta Sauces, Salad Dressings or Frozen Entrées yet, but if they’re anything like their other choices, I’m sure that they’re tasty. In addition to the health and taste benefits of Seeds of Change products, I simply like that the company is socially conscious (i.e. they contribute 1 percent of their net sales to advance the cause of sustainable organic agriculture worldwide). Right now, Seeds of Change products are available at specialty and “select” grocery stores nationwide. (For a store near you, you can check their store locator online.)
To enter, please tell me which Seeds of Change food you would like to introduce to your family and why in the “Comments” section below by Tuesday, June 30th at noon.
