Outside date nights with my husband is one thing that I am determined to get better about scheduling. We usually manage to have our weekly in-home date night each week after the kids are in bed. They are great. We vary it up by sometimes having cooking dates, special movie nights, etc. However, I think that it is important to get out of the house and away from the kids on a date at least once a month. Our January and February family calendar was full to the brim so I didn’t make it a priority. Then, I looked at this month’s calendar. It’s full too. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s probably going to be full more months than not, so I can’t wait to make this a priority!
