summer blur

I hope that your summer is going well so far. Mines has been a (mostly fun) blur…especially July. I mentioned earlier this year that I was working as a camp administrator for two camps this year. What was I thinking?! :-)

It just so happens that my (paid) parenting-related work has picked up considerably this month also. Besides, the things that I have written about here, I have also been doing some writing and editing. You can read some of it over at Juice in the City and Momtourage. I write about great NYC places to visit at Juice in the City and city life situations from a mom’s point of view over at Momtourage. Lastly, I have pulled together a writing team for a special project for a new site launch. I will be sharing more about that soon.

On top of that, I helped to plan a Women’s event that happened on Saturday. Virginia Lefler, a Christian author, came and spoke to over a 100 women. She did a great job and if you are interested in Christian themes, you can hear her message online here.

Suffice it to say, this month has been full. For some reason, I thought that I would still be able to post daily here. That’s not happening, so I’m adjusting my schedule. Until camp ends (August 24th), I will be posting three times a week here on Mom in the City. This week, I will be sharing about an event that I attended last week with Dr. Sears (of the Zone Diet fame). I’m also taking a break from working tomorrow to go to a baseball game at Citi Field with my guys (they have been such troopers this month!), so I’ll be sharing about that on Friday. Enjoy your week!

How have you been keeping yourself busy this summer?
