I have heard many Manhattanites bemoan the fact that there are not any Target (or “tar-jay” as some affectionately refer to them) stores in Manhattan. Well, there will be one this week. Unfortunately, it is not for keeps. It is simply a three day holiday shopping event.
The “Target To-Go” event will be held at Gansevoort and Washington Streets at the High Line entrance from Friday, December 11th through Sunday, December 13th (10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily). If you live between Battery Park and 99th Street, you will even get free, same-day delivery when spending $100 or more.
(On a charitable note, Target will be giving $100 Target GiftCards to pre-selected needy families as selected by The Salvation Army.) Happy Shopping!
