Flowers and chocolates are great gifts, but they only last a few days (okay – minutes, depending on the type of chocolate!). Why not treat yourself (or your mom) to a gift that helps you keep in touch with your loved ones? Windows phones fit the bill. They allow you to access computer functions (i.e. accessing contacts, sending e-mails, keeping track of the family schedule, etc.) from practically anywhere. You can also take pictures and video from them. Lastly, Windows phones run on the same system as home personal computers, so they’re relatively user-friendly.
I’m really excited that one lucky Mom in the City reader will receive a Windows phone – the pink (my favorite color!) Samsung BlackJack II. (Even if you don’t win, the phone is reasonably priced. It only costs $49.99 with a plan.)
