December 31 Resolution you wish you’d stuck with. (You know, there’s always next year…)
Back in January, I wrote…
…“So, that’s one of my inner motivated goals for 2008 – to be at my pre-baby “fighting weight” before I turn 35 on May 21st.” I did reach my pre-baby weight and stayed at (or below!) it for the most part all year. Mainly, that was due to exercise though. (I love the Wii active games, Tae-bo, etc.) This year, I want to focus on the nutrition/food aspect of health. Now, it’s about being my best physically – not reaching a number on the scale.
I have been juice-fasting the last three days, which made me re-think this goal. I am a foodie. That is not changing. Life is short. I am going to enjoy yummy food. I just plan on enjoying it primarily at events and special occasions in 2010.
Here’s the thing…I really don’t crave food (good or bad) on a daily basis. I just need to be more mindful of what I do/don’t eat. Taking a few days off of food has helped me to realize that. I’m looking forward to seeing the lasting changes in 2010.
Am I the only one who didn’t stick with all of my resolutions or is there a resolution you wish you’d stuck with also?
