Body Notes: Clarisea Salt Scrub & Suave’s Mango Mandarin Body Wash

Bath and shower time is “my time”, so I like to try out a variety of pampering products. Below are a scrub and body wash that I was recently sent to review:

-Clarisea Salt Scub: Clarisea is a brand new line based on natural sea salt. I recently finished a beloved hot salt scrub, so I was eager to try this one. I don’t (normally) have problem skin, so I didn’t need it to “minimize, heal and combat breakouts” which it claims to do. Since the line is suitable for all skin types, I just wanted a gentle exfoliant…which is exactly what I received. I really liked that it wasn’t greasy and that my skin felt soft to the touch after using it. On the other positive side, this scrub does not have any parabens, fragrances, dyes or harsh chemicals. (This would make a nice pampering Mother’s Day gift.)

And

-Last month, I went to a “Catch a Moment of Mango Mandarin Bliss” event at MOBar that was sponsored by Suave. It was nice to catch up with a few of my blogging friends while having some mango treats (drinks, candies and such). It was all in celebration of Suave’s new Mango Mandarin Body Wash. I like Suave products…they are reasonably priced and they smell really good. This particular one has a fruity mango scent. It works well, since my husband especially likes fruity scents on my skin. Another plus is that it is pretty moisturizing, so it doesn’t leave my skin dry after using it. (That is good, because I recently learned that I have dry skin. I thought that it was normal to dry, but it turns out that it is dry. Maybe that is because I’m getting older. Oh, well…). If you have sensitive skin, you will want to check the ingredients to make sure that you are not allergic to anything. Fortunately, my body skin is not especially sensitive (unlike my two sons!) so this body wash worked great for me.

I am always looking out for new body washes and scrubs. What are some of your favorites?
