I was recently invited to attend the grand opening of the Crocs 34th Street flagship store in Manhattan. I was asked to check out the new store and to pick out a pair of Crocs to take home. I’ll be honest…my initial thought was: “I am not a clog wearer,” because the initial picture that came to my mind was the colorful clogs that are so closely associated with the Crocs brand. Although I have many friends that love Crocs and rave about how comfortable they are, I just didn’t see myself wearing them. Then, I looked online at the Crocs.com website to see if they had any shoes that I would actually wear. To my surprise, they did!
Where have I been? Crocs actually has a bunch of cute shoes that I would wear – from leopard print flip-flops to stylish wedges. I am so glad that I visited the site, because I ended up snagging some cute little sandals, the crocs Women’s A-Leigh Wedge Sandal.
After visiting the Crocs store, I mentioned on Facebook that the different types of shoes available at the store pleasantly surprised me. Several of my friends mentioned they had known that Crocs carried some very fashionable shoes for years. Anyway, I’m glad that I actually took the time to give Crocs a second look!
