Happy International Women’s Day! There are so many women doing incredible things in every corner of society that it’s fitting that we take the time to lift women up – today and every day! There are so many amazing women that I could celebrate today including my mom and other women family members and friends. However, today I’m going to praise Tiffany Haddish.
After many years in the entertainment industry, Tiffany Haddish was one of the breakout stars of 2017. That was in large part due to the movie Girls Trip. I didn’t watch the movie because it’s a bit too risque for my personal tastes, but I enjoyed watching Tiffany act on The Carmichael Show. In addition to her acting talent and humor, I’m just impressed by how she has maintained such a positive outlook on life despite all that she has been through. Last week, I caught a clip of Tiffany Haddish on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Oprah and her vulnerability was endearing.
- It’s nothing but opportunity in the world right now.
- When I woke up today, I just knew that it was going to be magical.
- I looked at myself in the mirror and I said to myself, “Girl, today is going to be a magical day.”
In any event, I hope that you can find things to admire and imitate in the character of at least one inspiring woman today. Happy International Women’s Day!
