Yesterday, I attended a private screening of Here Comes the Boom and a Q&A with Kevin James and Henry Winkler as a guest of imPRess media. The movie was excellent. I thought that I would like it, but I loved it. I enjoyed it so much that I’m actually treating my husband and two sons to a movie date this weekend so that they can see it too! I’ll write more about the movie later, but I want to show you the private Q&A session with Kevin James and Henry Winkler that was moderated by Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein. The men were so endearing. I had no idea that Kevin James (the co-writer, star and a producer of the movie) was so talented. My favorite line that Kevin James said about the movie was that it is about “overcoming and becoming a better version of yourself”. Personally, I think that the movie accomplished that intention. As far as Henry Winkler, it’s just amazing to see how he has done so well over the span of his career. Mr. James and Mr. Winkler had such amazing chemistry in the movie. Listening to them speak revealed that it wasn’t just a “movie relationship”. Their mutual respect and admiration for one another was sweet and refreshing to witness. See for yourself:
