Cottonelle Roll Poll/The Great Debate Event In Times Square

I file this one in the “silly but fun” category…

This upcoming Wednesday is Thomas Crapper Day. Although John Harrington invented the flush toiled, Crapper often gets the credit for doing so by many. To celebrate, Cottonelle is hosting a “Great Debate Event” in Times Square ABC’s Time Square Studios (1500 Broadway / 44th Street entrance) from 3pm – 6pm. If you happen to be in the area and can stop by, you will get some free Cottonelle toilet paper.

In addition to this event, Cottonelle has been running a “roll poll” contest to see if more people roll over or roll under. Honestly, I had to go look at my toilet paper to see where I fell. It turns out that I’m “Team Under”. Just to switch things around, I flipped my toilet paper in the other direction. I think that I’m team under, because my kids would waste (even more) toilet paper if I were “Team Over”. I looked at the Roll Poll site and to my surprise, I”m in the (huge) minority. As of last look, 75% of people are with “Team Over”. Personally, I don’t think that a lot of pet or young kid owners have voted yet. (Or am I wrong? The majority of you are parents. Which team are you on?)

When it comes to the toilet, how the paper rolls is a non-issue in our house. I’m more concerned about proper guy aim…so that I don’t have to constantly be cleaning the toilet! But, that is just me…

In any event, I’m going to be covering the Times Square event on Wednesday as a (paid) Mom Bloggers Club VIP Ambassador. I hope to see you there!
