Favorite Newsletters for WAHM Entrepreneurs

My email inbox is very valuable to me. Since I get hundreds of emails a day, I don’t sign up for a whole lot of email newsletters. Actually, that is not entirely true. I do sign up for a lot of emails. I just unsubscribe from the vast majority of them after receiving them for a few times if they are not helpful! The newsletter subscriptions that I maintain are the important ones. They are the ones that consistently provide helpful content. Hopefully, the Work at Home Mom Time newsletter will fall under this category for you. In addition to site updates, I will also be including “subscriber-only” special offers and giveaway opportunities in it. Meanwhile, I am sharing my current favorite newsletters below:

1. Ali Brown
Ali Brown, who recently gave birth to adorable twins, has been a coach and advocate for women entrepreneurs for over a decade. She is also a noted philanthropist. Even if you don’t choose to purchase any of the various information products that she sells, her free newsletter is full of helpful, practical tips and advice.  One of my favorite tips that I have applied is to use Quozio.com to make quotes. I use it for my Motivational Monday quotes.

2. Marie Forleo
Marie Forleo is a hip-hop loving coach and guide to many women entrepreneurs. She has been on my radar since 2010 and I have been subscribed to her newsletter list since 2012. Although she is not a mom (unless you count her beloved dog Kuma), she speaks to challenges that all women entrepreneurs face. Her weekly newsletter and site posts (where she primarily answers a reader’s question on video and elaborates a bit more on the post) are consistent and provide practical takeaways. One of my favorite relevant posts on her site is Working Moms: How to Balance Being a Great Mom w/ Growing Your Business.

3. The Mogul Mom
I was sad that the original owner Heather Allard recently sold this site after six years. (It’s for a good reason though…she’s moving on to become an app developer, one of her new passions.) The Mogul Mom newsletter and site still maintain their focus on helping entrepreneurial moms grow their businesses though. The site seems to be in good hands with the new owner, Megan Barnes, and the advice-packed newsletters are still being consistently well produced.

4. Jill Christensen
This is one of my new favorites simply because I can relate to Jill’s life. She has two sons, works around her family’s schedule and seems to manage the “juggle” well. While our journeys to profitable businesses are different (she found her success in network marketing which I am HORRIBLE at), I connect with her honesty, practical business tips and obvious commitment to her family.

In addition to the newsletters listed above, I also subscribe to the newsletters for WAHM.com, It’s a WAHM Thing and About.com’s Work at Home Moms. I already included their websites on the 5 Favorite Blogs and Websites for WAHM Entrepreneurs post though, so I wanted to introduce you to some other great content creators.

If I missed any of your other favorite newsletters, please let me know in the “Comments” section below. Also, please be sure to sign up for the Work at Home Mom Time newsletter if you have not subscribed already. Thanks!
