Eiffel Tower

After going back to our hotel for a quick rest, my mom and I headed to the Eiffel Tower and to take a boat ride along the River Seine. Several of my friends (including Pamela Kuma) encouraged me to wait until the evening before visiting the Eiffel Tower. I’m so glad that I listened. The tower was so huge (324 meters) that I needed to walk back almost an entire block (and Paris blocks are l-o-n-g!) in order to capture an image of the entire tower. It was beautiful at sunset, but it was magical when it was lit up. It lights up every evening for the first five minutes of every hour until 1am. It was one of those experiences where practically everyone (women and men, young and old) stopped what they were doing, gazed up with amazement…and smiled. A picture would not suffice, so I shot a short video clip of the tower as it was lit up…
