As Mother’s Day approaches, many brands and businesses want to make certain that they are on your “mom radar”. I say, “No thank you” to the vast majority of review and giveaway offers, but I’m always pleased to share some of the best options with you. Minted and Mosaic are two such picks…

Minted

Minted
sells a variety of invitations, birth announcements and holiday cards from independent designers. Their online shop is a great place to buy Mother’s Day cards or gifts. Minted provided me with a site credit so that I could choose items from their site for editorial consideration. Since I love to give (and receive!) “thank you” cards, I picked their All You Need Is Thank You Cards ($57 for 25). I also like to doodle on unlined paper so I picked a sparkly 21st Century Girl Journal ($16). You can see what they really look like in the short video below:

Mixbook’s Mosaic

There are so many cool options when you go down the Apple “i” (iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad!) rabbit hole. For example…you have access to the Mosaic app, one of my new favorite things. It’s so easy and affordable (normally $20 + tax & shipping) to create. All that I had to do was download the (free to all) Mosaic app; use my credit to pay and create my mosaic by picking 20 photos from our iPhone. (I had the boys take funny poses so that I could do it quickly.) A few days later and voilà – my 7” x 7” Mosaic arrived!

Speaking of Mosaic…

Mosaic is providing a giveaway code for one of their photo books to one lucky Mom in the City reader for Mother’s Day. To enter to win the photo gift, simply let me know one of your favorite photo memories in the “Comments” section below. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing on May 10th at noon. Good luck!
