Recently, my family went to another birthday party. (Our kids’ social lives are more active than mine!) The birthday cake that was served at the party was gorgeous and delicious. Since I am often asked for NYC birthday cake recommendations, of course I asked where my friend purchased it. I had not heard of the pastry shop, Carrot Top Pastries, where she had purchased the cake. It turns out that Carrot Top was popular with the other Washington Heights moms who were at the party though, because they started sharing their positive Carrot Top birthday cake experiences.
