Easy 3-Ingredient Air Fryer Pork Chops Recipe

As we enter the New Year, I hope to share more quick and easy meal ideas – especially air fryer recipes. Please keep sending me your recipe requests and I will prepare them. For instance, a reader asked about pork loin chops so I am sharing a recipe for air fryer pork chops that is as easy as 1-2-3. Pork chops can tend to be a little dry but the ones that I cooked in my Ninja AF100 are bursting with juicy flavor.

3-ingredient air fryer pork chops recipe

I have added this quick and easy dish to my dinner rotation. Even though I have almost 1,000 recipes on this site, I still get tired of thinking about what is for dinner every night! I laughed at this relatable Instagram reel about the late Aretha Franklin voicing this same challenge…

Anyway, forget about dry, tasteless meat. This recipe uses your air fryer to deliver tender pork chops coupled with the zesty tang of Italian dressing. Plus, a quick Parmesan cheese sprinkle at the end adds a touch of cheesy goodness that both kids and adults enjoy.

Here is how to make the Italian air fryer pork chops recipe:

Italian Air Fryer Pork Chops

3-Ingredient Air Fryer Pork Chops

This 3-ingredient (plus salt and pepper) recipe results in juicy, flavorful pork chops.

Ingredients

  • 2 bone-in pork loin chops (8 oz. each)
  • 1/2 cup Zesty Italian dressing
  • Sea salt and coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork chops in the Italian dressing for at least 10 minutes. (Simply toss them in a zip-lock bag with the dressing, salt, and pepper, and put them in the refrigerator.)
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Spray your air fryer basket with a little oil and carefully place the pork chops inside. They shouldn't be crowded, so do them in batches if you’re cooking for more than two people.
  4. Set the timer for 15 minutes and let the chops cook. At the 10-minute mark, turn the chops over.
  5. At the 15-minute mark, open the fryer and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the hot chops. Let the chops cook for an additional minute so that the cheese can melt.

The chops are great with a variety of sides. Roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes are two of my top choices. I hope that your family enjoys this quick, easy, and satisfying dish.

Bonus Tips:

  • Feel free to get creative with the flavorings. You can experiment with different types of Italian dressing and/or add a pinch of your favorite herbs.
  • The longer that you can let the chops marinate in the dressing and seasonings (up to 24 hours), the better. When possible schedule-wise, I leave my pork to marinate overnight because it makes the meat more flavorful.
  • For thicker chops, cook for an additional few minutes, checking the internal temperature with a meat thermometer (145°F is perfectly cooked).
