Today is annual “Read-Aloud Day” at Michael’s school. Since he has a stomach virus, he won’t be there. I’m torn…
Part of me wanted to go so that I could see him wear the poster he created and read a book in his class. I love that Michael enjoys reading. On the other hand, I am spared being the mom of the kid who chose “Spider-Man” as his favorite literary character. (Of all the books…) Anyway, he drew a picture of Spidey’s mask and a spider on his poster. I was proud because he did get creative with it. If I think of it, I’ll post a picture when he gets it back.
