Happy (Early) Thanksgiving 2011

Posting is light this week, but I’ll be back to daily posting next week. Today was my husband Reggie’s birthday and we had a great time celebrating together as a family (even though I couldn’t enjoy the brownies the brownies that the boys made as a dessert gift for him…GLUTEN FREE :-)!  I’ll be “off” the rest of the week spending time with family and friends, so Happy Thanksgiving!

I have had so much to be thankful about this year including…

1. Sean thriving in pre-kindergarten:  He loves school and his teachers gush over him. (We have been so fortunate on the teacher front with both of the boys so far.  Knock on wood!)

2. Michael receiving his orange belt in karate:  He really loves karate.  It’s his passion.  I never have to bug him to get ready and go.  Rather, he’s rushing me!  I love when my kids are passionate about (positive!) things.

3. Going camping with “my guys”: We do a lot of things together as a family, but our trip to Camp Orenda was a series of firsts.  Hiking, canoeing, fishing and starting a fire…they did that this year!

What are some of the things that made you thankful this year?
