While on the cruise, I sat down to speak with actress (and singer) Jennette McCurdy .
I had met Jennette last year at the launch of Kinect in LA. She still has the same friendly, outgoing personality. My kids call her the “crazy” one on iCarly. She is obviously a great actress, because she is a really sweet person in real life. Below is a short video that I took as we chatted. Some of the topics that we covered were her upcoming Nickelodeon Movie with Jerry Trainor (Spenser from iCarly), her three brothers and her “famous” Spaghetti Taco recipe.
She was especially excited about her upcoming (April) single on Capitol Records Nashville, “Not That Far Away”. I watched the video on Jennette’s site when I came home. She actually has a really good voice! (I think that some of the kids who are used to her “Sam” character on iCarly will be pleasantly surprised…) In any event, I wish her the best in all of her future endeavors.
FYI: I attended the NCL where I interviewed Jennette as part of a “press trip″.
