For the next several weeks, I will be highlighting some of my favorite kids toys for the summer. Several of my picks will be accompanied by giveaways so that your kids can enjoy them too! To begin, my sons’ favorite toy of the moment is the Zing Air Z-Curve Bow that I was sent to review by Zing. Take a peek:
The toy is really fun and easy to use. The recommended age is 8 and up but my 5 year old is really great at using it along with his 8 year old brother. (Just be sure to keep a close eye on the little ones.) Even my husband and I have joined in on the fun. We are in good company, because the Z-Curve Bow was featured on the season finale episode of Big Bang Theory. We love that show! Anyway, we will use the bow outdoors now that the school year is over, but so far we have been using it in the home against a bare wall. One arrow has a suction cup that makes it stick to surfaces while the other two bounce back to you. So far, there have not been any negative incidents. (P.S. If your kids watch the new movie Brave, they will love this safer version of an archer’s bow and arrow “like Merida” uses in the film.)
