Going On “Vacation”

Dear Readers,

I’m spending most of my time preparing for the three camps that I’m working with this month. I thought that I would be able to keep up with the blog at night, but that just isn’t happening. (My hats off to the bloggers who work full-time jobs AND blog!) Since a girl has to sleep at least a few hours a night, something has to be “let go” until the end of the month.

As such, I won’t be blogging much until school starts on September 8th. The camps will be over by the end of August, but then I want to spend some time with “my guys” before the school rush begins. Michael wants to go to the Land of Make Believe and fishing, so I want to make that happen. The boys have been so good about “sharing” me with work this summer that I want to make sure that our free time is extra special. (It helps that Michael thinks that I’m working to pay for the karate lessons that he wants to take this fall. It’s so funny…every time I go out for a work-related thing, he will say, “You’re going to go make money for my karate lessons, right?” I don’t know how much he thinks karate lessons cost, but it’s working for me for now!)

In any event, I’ll be staying in touch with short tweets and Facebook messages, but that is about it. I can’t wait to catch up….to tell you about BlogHer, meeting Nate Berkus, etc., etc.

I hope that you enjoy the rest of the summer with your families. Stay tuned…there are exciting things in store for Mom in the City in the fall!

Take care,
Kimberly
