Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope that you have a wonderful day surrounded by the people that you love.
I will be doing the following:
-Shoe shopping with my mom who is visiting from Virginia
-Ordering in Chinese food for dinner: This year, we took the “day off” from the big family gathering. We’re reverting back to an old college tradition that I used to have with my mom. She would come up to NYC to visit me for Thanksgiving and we would eat Chinese food at the Ollie’s across the street from Columbia. It has been around 15 years since we last did that. This time, I get to include my husband and kids in on the fun, so it will be even more special.
And
-Taking a bit of time to think about some (of the many) people and things that have caused gratitude to overflow in my heart this year…
